Nicole Moan is an interdisciplinary artist with 25+ years’ experience. Courses in art, mechanics, and engineering have allowed her to experiment with combining disciplines and have led her to her primary emphases in wearable ceramic corsets and innovative hand-sculpted tile. She also creates unique jewelry, ceramic sculpture, and other decorative wares.

 

Moan’s elevated artistic style and haute couture fashion ensembles have solidified her place on the local and international art stage. Her corsets are designed with every body type in mind because Moan wants her clients to feel a part of the artistic process and experience,

making them feel as if they are walking pieces of art themselves. The corsets with their unique hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind ensembles, have been worn for everything from high school proms to major red-carpet events.

Through her three-dimensional hand sculpted tiles Moan is Changing people’s perception of what tile can do. Her tile work ranges from more traditional installations be it kitchen, bathroom, or pool interiors, to her tile murals that tell narrative stories, creating scenes and environments on a monumental scale.
